One thing I have noticed about pro-lifers is that they do not give a fuck about human lives. They are just obsessed with the idea that another person, a woman, can make decisions over her body.
These are the same pro-lifers who:
1. Do not adopt children;
2. Want to cut social welfare to single parents;
3. Support wars;
4. Do not donate to charities that care for children.
Some of them are xenophobic, antisemitic, sexist, homophobic and anti-disability.
They want children to be born, but when these children do not turn out the way they want, they hate them. Are you people all right?
Do you know the number of kids who die every day because they do not have access to clean water? What of children who die because of common ailments? Do I need to mention the children that are stacked in orphanages and the ones that have become homeless and nuisances to the society?
You want to tell women what they should do with their bodies, so badly, and yet you know nothing about the female body or the pregnancy you love so much.
Women should not be allowed to have abortion after 5-6 weeks when:
1. Most women do not realise that they are pregnant until 8-9 weeks;
2. Some women have irregular periods;
3. Some women continue to menstruate throughout their pregnancies;
4. Early pregnancy is not always detectable because the pregnancy hormone is too low in concentration;
5. Women still die during child birth.
The irony of it is that these same pro-lifers are also against sex education, the use of contraceptive and the distribution of free contraceptive.
Tell me if this is not a demonic attempt to control when women can have sex and the result of every sexual encounter a woman has? Tell me if this is not an agenda pushed by misogynistic people who want to limit a woman's sexual activities to one man alone and possibly the man whom she calls husband?
Women are not in this world to just bear babies and die. We are human beings with a purpose. We refuse to be slaves to our ability to carry pregnancies.
Absurdly, these are the same people who will castigate a woman who refuses to have children for reasons best known to her.
Let me not forget the men who nurture the fantasy of impregnating a woman, just to bail on her later on.
You people must be mad if you think women are going to just sit back and watch you mess with their lives. This is the 21st century. 2019. This generation of women is not like our mothers. Try us and we will fight back with every cell in our body.
