Tonto is telling the truth but people only hear her screams.
She's making the same mistake I made many years ago. You can say all the truth you want to say, but when you speak from a place of anger, nobody will listen.
She has every right to be angry. That she's a celebrity does not mean that she cannot fall victim of a man like her ex husband. Unknown women tell their tales every day. Some even did for their men more than Tonto ever did for Churchill; so why do we listen to these women and empathise with them, while we are busy calling Tonto a mad woman? Why is she being labelled the villain?
Like every man of his kind, Churchill only shows himself for the monster that he is when nobody is watching.
I know a man like Churchill. It's all about public image of the loving husband and responsible father, but the people that live with him know the other and real side of his character.
However, nobody will listen to the object of his scorn. Nobody will understand her. She's just a mad woman screaming against a quiet and peace loving man.
Like nobody believes me when I say my birth father is scum. They all know him as "that man wey nor dey talk". Just like we always see Churchill with his mouth shut.
Poor Churchill. Save Churchill from Tonto.
The man is gaslighting her big time and she's hoping on an ignorant and biased audience to detect it. They won't. They will condemn her and support him.
The reason why I believe Tonto is simple: if indeed Churchill did what he said he did like taking care of his son, he would show it, and not just say it. His type will not miss an opportunity to discredit someone beyond any reasonable doubt. They live to humiliate their victims. But he can't prove because he didn't do it. So he's playing the usual game.
Hit her in private, keep mum in public, while she screams. Only her voice will be heard and she alone will be shamed.
If only Tonto knew she was playing his game. I just wish she knew.
But experience they say is the best teacher. Hopefully she'll learn.
