Some dude called Charles Novia claims that the reason why the armed forces are violent towards Nigerian men is because Nigerian men look at public servants with disdain and rudeness; and Nigerian men are not finding it funny.
However, I do. I find it funny.
Why? Because most of these men ardently defend their right to be violent towards women. Why? Because women are disrespectful to them.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Let me say this, any man who has ever accused a woman of being at fault for the violence she suffered because she was rude, she talked back and she didn't know her place, has no business being mad at Mr Novia; also he deserves to be killed off like a rat by the police and SARS.
Any man or woman who has ever blamed a victim of rape for the way she was dressed or for her decision to be at a particular place, at a particular time, also deserves to be killed off like a fowl by the police and SARS.
You cannot switch on and switch off your integrity only when it suits you. You don't matter enough to do that.
If the news for example had it that SARS and policemen only targeted a particular demographic, trust me, there wouldn't be this unity among men to condemn the violence. Instead the ones that are not affected would find reasons to blame the ones that are affected because, you know, Edo men are Yahoo Yahoo boys, Igbo men are troublemakers, Delta men are cultists, Hausa men are nuisances, etc.
I have observed enough to decide to be unsympathetic towards Nigerians when it comes to issues like this, as Nigerians themselves are not sympathetic towards one another especially when they are not at the receiving end of that same injustice. Not even type. It has to be exactly the same injustice.
Imagine people accusing Adetutu of using her tribal marks to gain public pity and to blackmail people into silence. Tomorrow these same people will come out to campaign for Biafra, for women, for gays, for Atheists, etc because they are directly affected by the injustice against Igbos, women, gays, Atheists, etc.
But there is no distinction among men. It is any man or even woman. So, now we are suddenly expert in integrity.
I don't understand whom you people think you are fooling, but you are NOT fooling me and you are not fooling those men in uniform. The only people you are fooling are yourselves.
It's either there is justice for all or there is no justice for anybody. It's either we all live with dignity or we all die with shame.
Because as far as I am concerned, any man who uses violence against women and children deserves to be shot by the police.
Any woman who uses violence against other women and children deserves to be shot by the police.
Nobody should be special or privileged. Make all of us kukuma die if that is what it takes to make Nigeria a better country.
You think say you special? 🤣🤣🤣 Come again, you entitled pricks.
