And because we are talking about good girls, I want to write about girls who pose as good girls.
The main characteristic of a good girl is Tacha. 😂 I'm joking. It's PASSIVENESS.
Good girls are passive. They don't do anything. They only do something when they are told to do so by the people at the top of the social hierarchy: parents, boyfriends/husbands and pastors.
They are not instigators. They are not reactors. They are simply absorbers. Just like an emotional sponge, a good girl absorbs all the negativity thrown at her until it consumes her and leaves her completely hollow.
Why would anyone want to pose as one of these lifeless entities?
Because it's a convenient tag. It gets you what the society considers your only reward and purpose for existing: marriage.
How do you recognise a poser?
First of all, posers have a duality of everything: personality, character, preference, friends and partners. They switch from one opposite to the other based on what is more convenient at the time. Unlike good girls, they are not passive at all.
They are instigators and reactors. As a matter of facts, they are the top instigators, right after the lost girls.
They don't care much about getting married, but they crave the respect associated with being married.
They don't care about religion or God, but they love the reverence associated with devout women.
They are simply there to collect the benefits of being a good girl, while they live their carefree life in secret.
In recent times we have seen posers hijacking the feminist movement. They call themselves feminists, but their actions or lifestyle do not reflect the feminist ideology.
Since posers and good girls seem to be unattractive choices, who's better between them?
Personally, I wouldn't associate with any of them. They are both disloyal and lacking in honour and integrity.
And if I may hazard, I would say that there are more posers than actual good girls. Reason why the chain of violence in our society is so long and so hard to break.
