She took in a 14 year old girl by the name Princess, and tortured her for months. She also groomed her daughters to aide in the torture. Her husband simply turned a blind eye.
Tortures include:
- Warming up a hot knife and burning it on the girl's face, buttocks and vulva.
- Inserting sticks laced with pepper inside the girl's vagina.
- Inserting ground pepper into the girl's vagina.
- Making her sleep on the toilet floor.
- Forcing her to drink from the toilet tap.
- Refusing to give her good.
- Etc.
Iyema also refused to let the Princess's parents see her. They had to involve an NGO before she finally released Princess.
When asked why she did what she did, she answered: I didn't know the fire was burning very well like that."
