No, she wasn't acting as a surrogate for someone. Those are actually her kids. And I'm assuming her husband will be around the same age, or even older.
We play too much in Nigeria.
I called the decision selfish, and people want to chop my head off. But is that decision not selflish?
Listen to their reasons:
- Young mothers die too.
- At least she became a parent.
- Maybe they have plans to leave them with someone.
- Sarah had a baby at 90.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
This exposes the one and only true reason why Nigerians have kids. They want to be parents without having to deal with the implications of being parents. Parenthood is seen as a privilege. What again? Mothers are sacred.
Imagine someone saying that the kids could die first or some mothers die young.
Is this a joke? Are you comparing the life of a 68 year old woman to that of a 24 year old woman, just so you can justify a selfish decision?
And please tell, what are the plans? The same Nigerians that are scared shit of becoming orhpans and ending up with relatives or a stepparent are now totally cool with having that plan because "miracle birth"?
Or is it not here that women pray against a premature death that would leave their kids in the hands of a wicked stepmother?
All of a sudden:
- It's good to die and leave your infant children in the care of someone else;
- It doesn't matter if you can't take care of your kids. Just have them;
- Having a child at 68 is no longer a big deal (tomorrow them go use menopause insult woman o).
- It's OK for us to predict for a kid to die before their parents.
😂😂😂 madness.
These two parents owe it to their children to live until the age of at least 95. Anything less, they'd have failed.
Just because you can do it doesn't mean that you have to do it.
This decision was an epic fail.
