If you hear that any woman has died as the result of a curse that punishes women who sleep with men outside their marriage, know that there was no curse involved. Those women were murdered by their husbands who then conveniently blamed the curse.
I mean, how do you prove that a curse isn't real? 🤷🏽♀️
In those same villages, you will find women who have cheated, conceived children with other men, and are still "happily" married to their oblivious husbands.
The efficacy of this curse relies on the fact that the women must be CAUGHT in the act of adultery. Without any human knowledge, the curse does absolutely nothing. Shouldn't that tell you that there is something fishy about the subsequent death of the women who died?
Even as a woman who doesn't plan to cheat, don't make the mistake of marrying any man from any of these places. One day they can kill you, then tell people that you died because you committed adultery, and nobody will bother to ask further questions.
Nigeria is a country where autopsies are not a routine practice. So think twice before you go and chook head into a culture where women can be killed at the whim of a wicked husband.
